Moonlit Data (“we”, “us”) is based in Austin, Texas. This policy explains what we collect when you visit moonlitdata.com or send us the estimate form, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only.
What We Collect
What you send us through the form. Your full name, work email and company, plus your answers about staff size, years of ticket history, PSA, team chat, how detailed your tech notes are, how many of your clients are in healthcare, finance or government, and any comments or questions you add.
What you send us directly. Anything you include when you email or call us.
Basic visit data. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies or follow you across other sites. It gives us totals such as pages viewed, the site you came from, country and device type. Our hosting provider also processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How We Use It
- To reply to you and set up the intro call you asked for.
- To prepare your free payout range.
- To follow up about Moonlit Data’s services. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
We don’t sell your information, rent it or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
How It’s Handled
When you send the form, it’s delivered to our team by email through Cloudflare. We don’t keep form submissions in a website database. Your message is kept in our business email.
Who Else Processes It
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site and our email:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, delivers form emails, provides our analytics and runs Turnstile, a check on the estimate form that helps keep out spam bots by looking at technical signals from your browser. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive and send.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Spam Protection
The estimate form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending it. Turnstile looks at technical signals from your browser and usually runs without you noticing. Your use of Turnstile is subject to Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Cookies
We don’t set any cookies, and our analytics doesn’t use them.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your contact details for as long as we need them to respond to you and to work with you, if you become a client. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your Choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing sales@moonlitdata.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we’ll honor them.
Ticket Data
This policy doesn’t cover ticket data from an MSP we work with. That data is handled under separate written agreements, such as an NDA and a data processing agreement, signed before any work begins.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn’t directed to children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
